David Hallam
David Hallam is a PR operative and served as a UK Labour MEP from for Herefordshire and Shropshire in England, in the 1994-1999 European Parliament.
In 2003 he set up a public affairs company called Horizon Glenn. On his website he advertises services such as: political lobbying at local, national and European levels, managing crisis response and media relations.[1]

According to Hallam he has worked as "an interim manager/director for such diverse organisations as Severn Trent, BT, several NHS bodies, the Home Office, an African Caribbean arts centre, WRAP and a teachers' association."[2]
Hallam is "security cleared at BC level and holds PRINCE2 Foundation." As of July 2009 he lists his current position as Interim Head of Communications at North East London Foundation NHS Trust.[3]
Hallam admits to having "worked on several projects connected with the NHS IT project."[4] He also notes that:
- He has recently completed managing communications for a major and very controversial change project for a local authority in the West Midlands. He is currently on a short term contract with a Mental Health NHS Trust. Last year David Hallam undertook an assignment as National Director in Wales for a teachers’ association working at a senior management level beyond his usual communications briefs. David would welcome the opportunity of working as an interim CEO.[5]
