Council of British Funeral Services
The Council of British Funeral Services (CBFS) is a National Federation of funeral service associations, organisations groups and others having sectoral interests, all of whom are engaged in the provision of products or services related to the funeral sector. The CBFS states that it is a not for profit organisation.[1]
The CBFS states that it operates as a national non-profit organisation and in accordance with its humanitarian goals to service the interest and rights of the deceased and their surviving dependent’s, the Council was established in recognition of the need for an ever-closer co-operation in this context. A copy of its constitution is available on request.[2]
