Chris van der Kuyl

Chris van der Kuyl is a member of the Scottish Science Advisory Committee and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh. His register of interests on the SSAC website dicloses that he is a member of the Labour Party and a Director of Young Enterprise UK.^[1]

He is according to the SSAC website:

Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of VIS entertainment Ltd, which creates leading-edge entertainment property for leading games platforms worldwide. Following the acquisition of VIS by BAM Entertainment! earlier this year, he becomes President and COO of the parent company. Chris is acknowledged widely as one of the leading young entrepreneurs in Scotland and has won various awards. Between 2000-2002, Chris was a member of the Global Leaders of Tomorrow Programme at the World Economic Forum. He is committed to encouraging entrepreneurship in schools, colleges and universities. He is Chairman of Young Enterprise Scotland and a Director of Schools Enterprise Scotland. In 2003 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from Napier University, Edinburgh.
