Chris Edwards
Chris Edwards is the director of tax policy studies at the Cato Institute and a top expert on federal and state tax and budget issues.
A former senior economist on the congressional Joint Economic Committee examining tax, budget and entrepreneurship issues, he has also worked as a consultant and manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers and as an economist with the Tax Foundation. [1] He currently sits on the Advisory Council of the Democracy Institute[2] and is editor of www.downsizinggovernment.org.[1]
In the Cato Institute's Tax and Budget Bulletin in March 2010, Edwards criticised the trade unions of the growing ‘parasitical public sector’ in defence of the private sector.[3]
