Britta Reimers (born 27 July 1971, Itzehoe) is an MEP for Germany from Free Democratic Party since 07 June 2009.[1]

Practical experience of farming (1992-1993); studied agriculture at Kiel Agricultural Institute (without graduating) (1993-1995); trainee farmer (1995-1996); state-examined farmer (1996-1999). Began work on husband's farm (1995); took over father's farm and merged it with husband's farm (2002).
  • Member of the FDP, Steinburg district (since 2002); member of the FDP executive for the Steinburg district (since 2004); member of the Regional Executive of the FDP Party in Schleswig-Holstein (since 2005). Vice-Chair of the Regional Executive of the FDP Party in Schleswig-Holstein (since 2009).
  • Member of Steinburg district assembly (2008-2009).
  • Member of Europa-Union (since 2009). Member, Lockstedt voluntary fire brigade (since 1993); instructor of principal firemen, Steinburg district fire brigade (1995-2001). Member of Steinburg district farmers' association (since 2002); member, main district committee of Steinburg district farmers' association (since 2002); member of the Regional Public Relations Committee of Schleswig-Holstein farmers' association (since 2002); cofounder and presenter of women farmers' network (2000-2008); member of Kellinghusen and district rural women's association (since 2009).
