The Twelfth Bilderberg meeting was held in Cannes, France on 29-31 May 1963.[1]

Agenda

  • The balance of power in the light of recent international development
  • Trade relations between the U.S.A. and Europe in the light of the negotiations for Britain's entry into the Common Market
  • Trade relations between the Western world and the developing countries[2]

Participants

The Washington Post reported on 30 March 1963: "NATO Commander Gen. Lyman Lemnitzer and Belgian Foreign Minister Paul-Henri Spaak arrived here today to take part in the secrecyshrouded annual "Bilderberg Conference" on world affairs."[3]
