Anna Clunes
Anna Clunes CMG OBE has since August 2025 been an 'Advisor' in the Cabinet Office as she rather shyly puts it in her LinkedIn page.[1] In fact according to official data on the Cabinet Office she has the rank of SCS3 and a salary of between £140,000 - £144,999 in the National Security Secretariat, suggesting she may be a Deputy National Security Advisor. This is confirmed by a public announcement by the US Department of State on the occasion of Clunes meeting Senior Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs Official Brendan P Hanrahan at the Department of State on 12 August.[2]
