Andrew MacPherson is the co-founder and managing director of the Strategic Projects Team until it was axed in 2016.

Career
MacPherson has held a number of transport roles including; a range of operational pan-European leaderships at Sealink from 1969 to 1992; customer service manager at ferry operator Stena Line until 1999; customer services change director at P & O in 2000; customer services director at One Railway - National Express in 2004; and bid executive at Govia in 2008
He has held consultancy roles at Customer Innovation Ltd and Andrew MacPherson Associates.
MacPherson took his first role in healthcare in 2006 as a non-executive director at the Ipswich NHS Trust Hospital; in 2009 he was appointed director of the Strategic Projects Team at NHS Midlands & East and then director of customer service strategy & the Strategic Projects Team in 2011; director of strategic projects & delivery at NHS England; and was appointed managing director of the Strategic Projects Team in 2013.
MacPherson has also worked in customer service at The Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Europe as chief executive in 2007, having been a board member since 2003 and security as general manager of aviation at Confidence International AB in 2000.[1][2]
