Andrew Collier (Journalist)

Andrew Collier is a journalist and corporate spin doctor. According to his biography on the Written Words website:

Andrew Collier is one of the country's most experienced and respected journalists. During nearly 30 years in the media, he has written for virtually every national newspaper. He regularly contributes to a wide range of magazines, is an accomplished broadcaster and a long-standing consultant in corporate communications. Andrew is based in Yorkshire and responsible for developing and growing Written Words' business in the north of England.

Among his work is a 16 page tabloid insert given away with The Herald newspaper on 28 November 2006 entitled 'Your Fair Share'. This was a propaganda publication promoting the privatisation of public services overseen by an agency called 2Collaborate and subcontracted to Collier and his colleague at Written Words, Maggie Stanfield. The clients behind the tabloid were the Scottish Executive and three companies lobbying hard to get into public sector service delivery, LogicaCMG, Microsoft and Capgemini.
