Alfredo Antoniozzi, MEP

Alfredo Antoniozzi (born 18 March 1956, Cosenza) is an MEP for Centrale from the Italian political party Il Popolo della Libertà since 14.07.2009. He also served the previous term at the parliament representing Forza Italia.[1]

Curriculum Vitae

  • Graduate in law (1980); started legal practice (1981).
  • Forza Italia coordinator for the Provincial Council of Rome. Stood for the post of chairman of the Provincial Council of Rome (April 2008).
  • Rome City Council: member of the Social Services Committee (1981) and member of the Executive with responsibility for education, general affairs, agriculture and the Tiber waterside (1985-1989).
  • Lazio Region: member of the Regional Council (2000), chairman of the Culture Committee (1990-1992), group leader of Democrazia Cristiana (1992-1994), member of the Regional Executive with responsibility for transport (1994-1995). Re-elected member of the Regional Council in 1995 and in 2000 for Forza Italia. Member of the Bureau (1995-1999), group leader of Forza Italia until July 2004, member of the Bureau of Forza Italia, Forza Italia coordinator for the Provincial Council of Rome.
  • Rome City Council: Member of the Executive with responsibility for heritage, housing and special projects (2008).
