Alan Reid

Alan Reid was the Liberal Democrats member of Parliament (MP) for Argyll and Bute from 2001 to 2015.

Reid lost his seat in the 2015 general election to the Scottish National Party's Brendan O'Hara by 8,473 votes.[1]

He served as Opposition Whip (Commons) 2002-05, Shadow Minister (Trade and Industry) 2005-06, Shadow Minister (Northern Ireland) 2006-10, Shadow Minister (Scotland) 2007-10, Opposition Whip (Commons) 2010-10.[2]
