The aim of the All -Party Parliamentary Group on Freedom of Religion or Belief was created by Parliament 'To raise awareness and profile of international freedom of belief as a human right amongst parliamentarians, media, government and the UK general public; and to increase effectiveness and awareness of the UK's contribution to international institutions charged with enforcing this human right.'[1]

As of February 2016, the APPFB had received (in bands of £1500) £,3001-£4,500 in benefits from St Mary's University, Twickenham, £3,001-£4500 from the Church of England as well as £1,501-£3,000 from the Cathedral Innovation Centre. [2]
