The World Confederation of United Zionists is, according to the WZO 'a world union of Zionist organizations, federations and youth movements. With branches in twenty-one countries and partnered by Hadassah, the largest women's Zionist organization in the USA, Confederation and Hadassah form the only non-aligned faction within the World Zionist Congress.'[1]

The Confederation 'supports the youth movements within the Atid Framework – Young Judaea, Federation of Zionist Youth and Tzofim Tzabar Olami. Confederation also supports other unaffiliated Zionist youth movements in the Former Soviet Union and Latin America... Formed in 1958, the World Confederation of United Zionists is the modern day equivalent of the General Zionist movement.[1]
