Wireless Generation is a US educational technology company founded by Rhodes scholars Larry Berger and Greg Gunn.[1] The company was purchased by News Corporation in 2010 for $360 million.[2]
In 2011, The New York State comptroller rejected a $27 million contract with Wireless Generation, because of news Corporation's involvement in the phone hacking scandal in the UK.[3]
