The rule isL: do not include prefixes like Sir, Dr Prof etc inside brackets ecxept in the case of Lord or Baroness where there is no obvious first/given name.

Also, don't worry too muych about outdated links etc.  The key think is to get the formatting sorted and then updating can be done after we launch.  There is plenty of work to be done here, so don't worry about that.  Our priority has got to be getting pages into basic shape rather than comprehensive updates at the minute.

Hi, good work on the Bayer influence page: Can you make sure that you leave 'The' out of the names of organisations inside the brackets?

eg:

not

[[The European Chemical Industry Council]]

The [[European Chemical Industry Council]]

not

[[The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries Associations]]

The [[European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries Associations]]

Hi

It is best to create articles with a minimum number of <saves> in wiki... in other words, don't use wiki as a means to edit your articles, this should be kept outside.  a smaller number of changes keeps the history clearer.

Hi Tor,

good work on the bigger profiles.

A tip to make the referencing formatting quicker:

copy and paste the references into word and then use find and replace.

Find ^p (^p = paragraph mark) Replace #{{note|

or Find [ Replace #[[#ref_

Then Find ]] Replace |^]]

Then paste the text back into spinprofiles

Can you let me know if you have any problems with this?

Also you can do something similar with the text. eg:

Find [[ Replace Template:RefZ

Good luck --David 10:16, 14 Jun 2007 (BST)
