Tom, bulk list is great.  can you also enter in a series of pages with each individual search?  Can you also specify what the ISI search was?

Hi,

is the list from google etc any longer than 25?  Could we have the top 50 in a list on a page?

also, can we try and use the format that would be useable in spinprofiles for names?  ie no caps lock, and no reverse order, thus allowing eg Paul Wilkinson

thanks

Hi David,

Yes I'll sort all this info into individual pages etc all linking up. This is just a starting point really and I've got more data i want to include but for one thing I haven't mastered tables on Wiki yet.

*The Google lists etc were only 25 but they're easily extended if you think that could be interest/useful.

*You sent me the ISI list so you'd have to let me know the search terms etc so I can include those details.

*On the formating of the names, I'm in the process of changing them to the SpinProfiles friendly format but for the time being surname structure is more useful for illiminating duplicate names.

Best,

Tom

I wonder about the rationale for the conference atendees selection?  If you look at Herman and o'Sullivan they have a list of terrorism institutes.: http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/Category:The_%22Terrorism%22_Industry

To see how to do tables check out Center for Strategic and International Studies which has some.  It is based on html coding. My talk page: http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/User_talk:David

Tom, good work on the tables.  Can you make sure you have the spelling right: I notice that Conor Cruise O'Brien's name is misspelled.

also can you construct a separate page for each of your searches too?  and then link them to the Terrorexpertise portal page.

Thanks

Hi,

can you remember to add the Gohels to the bulk list?

Thanks

They say that (in 1989) CSIS is one of the most influential terror think tanks.  Also Rand Corporation is clearly key.  do we have any way of assessing which are the most important organisations to include?  Perhaps we should add RAnd and CSIS and maybe a couple of others?  What do you think?

Hi,

I wonder about the rationale for the conference atendees selection? If you look at Herman and o'Sullivan they have a list of terrorism institutes.: http://www.spinprofiles.org/index.php/Category:The_%22Terrorism%22_Industry

They say that (in 1989) CSIS is one of the most influential terror think tanks. Also Rand Corporation is clearly key. do we have any way of assessing which are the most important organisations to include? Perhaps we should add RAnd and CSIS and maybe a couple of others? What do you think?
