Strange that you offer kind regards phatically and unkind ones emphatically but perhaps that's the way you talk. I sent an email to David ages ago pointing out that the talk section was coming up on Nuclear spin and the likely problems this might cause, and he seems to have got someone to fix the bug — probably only recently. He did ask me to send round an email to everyone but I didn't do it.

What's holding me up? I really don't know what you mean by that. Its your opinion on Palast and its for you to sort out that opinion should you choose to do so — its not for me to show you what I want to do with your work: I don't control this site. I have taken the time to give you my opinion and I have much more interest in working on my own contributions than yours (I don't mean that to sound like a put-down) and/or arguing over it. Your bit on Palast is just not circumspect enough for me — others may greet it with warmth and admiration, I'm after something a bit more philosophical. I can't see us collaborating on anything particularly fruitful in the future on this topic, but I could be wrong. My interest in Palast relates to his work around 'Lobbygate' as it is termed. I'm interested in drawing on this to a certain extent and combining it with my own research. I felt (and still do) that his letter to the select committee should be presented as being of greater worth than your attack and feel some sort of development of his work on lobbyists would be a more worthwhile contribution to the site. Your line of approach would be more relegated to a footnote and as I am sure you know Palast has been the victim of a massive smear campaign himself because of his revelations surrounding Liddle, Draper etc., which was purposefully intended to distract from these findings. I don't see the point in carrying on smear and counter smear stuff when there are so many others more adept at the game and so much work to do on a more basic level.
