The Trades Union Congress is the main umbrella organisation for Britain's trade unions.

Nuclear Policy

At the TUC's conference in 2004, the TUC committed to pressuring the government to "encourage the development" of nuclear power under the motion C15. This also reaffirmed the TUC's commitment to a "balanced energy policy". Moving the C15 motion, Peter Clements from PROSPECT said: " Nuclear power should have a significant part to play in reducing CO2 emissions." [1]
