Tom Carew is the former chairman and chief executive of the Israel-Ireland Friendship League and a former trustee of the Peace Train Organisation.[1]

He resigned as chair of the Ireland-Israel Friendship League in 2013, after criticising Israeli soldiers involved in a confrontation with EU diplomats in the West Bank.[2]
