'''The Washington Conference on Port Security, Maritime Intelligence and Counter-Proliferation''' was a two day conference and one day course on counter-terrorism held at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center in Washington D.C. from 19 - 21 May 2004. The conference was presented by the [[Maritime Intelligence Group]] and co-sponsored by the [[Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence]], [[Sandia National Laboratories]], [[Lloyds Marine Intelligence Unit]], [[Lloyd's List]], [[Informa Group]], and the [[American Association of Port Authorities]].

Numerous US state officials and corporate executives spoke at the conference, as did as the top [[CSTPV]] affiliated people including [[Paul Wilkinson]], [[Rohan Gunaratna]], [[Peter Rigby]], [[David Veness]], [[Magnus Ranstorp]] and [[Bruce Hoffman]].  [[Matthew Levitt]], of the [[Washington Institute for Near East Policy]] also spoke.
