Introduction

The International Agencies' Council (IAC) is a member of the European Commisson and European Association of Communications Agencies(EACA). It has the 13 largest international media agencies in Europe as its members. [1]

Issues

The IAC appears not to have a website, indicating that this may not be a real organisation but is definitely connected to the EACA.

There is conflicting information regarding the Chairman of the IAC board. On the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) the Chairman of IAC is stated as being Bernard Barnett, whereas on the EACA website the chairman is listed as Mike Walsh. All of the board members of the IAC are from major advertising companies.
