Surinder Arora is the owner and chairman of Arora International Hotels.

Career

After moving to England aged 13, Arora began working in a number of hotels and restaurants. After saving some money, he managed to buy a row of houses opposite Heathrow with his family and saw the opportunity to turn them into bed and breakfast accommodation for flight crews.

In 1999 construction finished on his first hotel and within three months of it opening hotels number two and three were being built.

The firm now owns sixteen hotels, a golf course and a private airfield and counts singer Cliff Richard as a business partners and best friend, and as of 2013 had earned Arora close to £350 million.[1]
