Society for Applied Microbiology (SfAM) is the voice of applied microbiology and is the oldest microbiology society in the UK.

Its objective is to try and advance the 'science of microbiology in its application to the environment, human and animal health, agriculture and industry', for the benefit of the public. [1]

Affiliations

The Society for Applied Microbiology is currently a donor to the science Media Centre according to the SMC.
