The New York Times reported in 1983 that Shlomo Zabludowicz founded Etablissements Salgad, a company in Liechtenstein that holds patents on the mortars and owns other companies that act as sales agents for Soltam weapons. Tamares Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Salgad, is based in London and serves as a trading company. [1]
