Salam Hafiz is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Cohesion a think tank set up by Civitas "following widespread and longstanding concern about the diminishing sense of community in Britain"[1].

Salam Hafez is an Arabic speaking journalist and analyst who has reported on a wide range of Arab, Muslim and financial issues from United States, Europe and the Middle East.

He has previously worked in the Emirates as a journalist for Gulf News. Later he was involved in the successful launch of Dow Jones Newswires Gulf Bureau. He later joined Al Jazeera English as a journalist and was part of its successful launch.

He has appeared as a commentator on Al Arabiyah. Previously he was a freelance journalist in Lebanon. [2].
