Dr Rupa Huq has been the Labour Party Member of Parliament for Ealing Central and Acton since May 2015. [1]

Huq defeated the Conservative Party candidate Angie Bray, who had previously held the seat since 2010 [2], with a marginal majority of 274. [3]

Huq joined the Justice Select Committee in November 2015 following his election to Parliament. [4]
