Richard Younger-Ross was the Liberal Democrats Member of Parliament for Teignbridge from 2001 to 2010. He failed to be re-elected in the 2010 election, and was given a payoff of £32,383 by his party as a result of this.

Despite this resettlement payment, Ross has been recalled to the Liberal Democrats Party, and is to stand for the Teinbridge constituency in the upcoming general election in May 2015. [1]
