The far left RCP (Revolutionary Communist Party) was the forerunner of the libertarian LM network. Led by [[Frank Furedi]], it broke away from the Socialist Workers Party in 1978 as the Revolutionary Communist Tendency. It was renamed  the RCP in 1981 and disbanded in 1996.
