Philip Hammond is an associate of the libertarian and anti-environmental LM network, having been a member of the Revolutionary Communist Party and written for Living Marxism and Spiked, [1] having been associated with the London International Research Exchange and having a role with the Brighton Salon [2]

Philip Hammond is reader in Media and Communications at South Bank University. His main research interest is the role of the media in post-Cold War conflicts. He is on the editorial board of the Media, War and Conflict journal.[3]
