Philip Bowman

Philip Bowman was appointed as a non-executive director of Scottish & Newcastle in 2006. In the same month Bowman was also appointed as chief executive of Scottish Power He is also presently senior independent director with Burberry Group plc.
Bowman was chief executive of Allied Domecq until July 2005, previously group finance director from December 1998 to July 1999.
From 1985 to 1995 he was with Bass/Six Continents, including chief financial officer, then chairman and chief executive of Bass Taverns.
Formerly chairman of Liberty plc, chairman of Coral Eurobet, and non-executive director of BSkyB.[1]
