Peter Atkinson is a Canadian businessman and former director of Hollinger International. Atkinson was removed from the lawsuit againt Hollinger after agreeing to pay back the $2.8m he received from a disputed incentive plan and "non-compete" agreements following the disposal of Hollinger titles[1].
He was the former executive vice-president of Hollinger, and he received a 24-month jail sentence and a fine of $3,000 US for mail fraud[2]
