Paula Pohja, former assistant at the Finnish permanent representation in Brussels, joined the Whitehouse Consultancy in February 2007.

The Whitehouse Consultancy describes itself on its homepage as "... a specialist political consultancy advising clients how best to identify, approach and influence the key decision-makers of Westminster, Whitehall, Brussels, and local Government."[1]

Background

Pohja has worked in the European Parliament. She was with the Finnish permanent representation while Finland held the EU presidency, and when both the Services Directive and the REACH chemicals legislation were finalised.

Managing director of Whitehouse said of Pohja, "Paula offers a wealth of experience and brings with her an excellent understanding of the complex interrelationships between all of the institutions of the EU. We are thrilled she has joined the team."[2]
