Michael Turner is the chairman of Fullers, Smith & Turner.

Career

Turner joined brewers Fullers, Smith & Turner plc (Fullers Brewery) in 1978. He initially ran the wine division, was appointed marketing director in 1988, managing director in 1992, chief executive in 2002 and chairman in 2007.[1]

Support for the Conservative Party

2010 election

Turner backed the Conservative pledge not to increase National Insurance if they won the 2010 General Election.[2]

Letter to the Telegraph

On 1 April 2015 Turner was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[3]
