Matthew Hancock has been the Conservative MP for West Suffolk since 2010. In 2012, he was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary (Department for Education) (Jointly with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills).[1] In October 2013, he was promoted to Minister of State in the same departments.[2]
