Laura Kyrke-Smith was a research assistant on the Foreign Policy Centre's Public Diplomacy programme, and now works as assistant to the director of Polis, the journalism and society think tank at the LSE. She is studying part-time for her MSc in International Relations at the London School of Economics, and is due to graduate in 2007. Laura previously worked for the British Council in Tanzania, as well as spending time in Russia working at the Centre for Chechen Refugees. She graduated in 2005 from Robinson College, Cambridge University, with a B.A. (Hons) in History.[1]
