Julian Wheatland

Julian Wheatland is Chief Executive of Consensus Community, the non-property venture capital and investment arm of Consensus Business Group. The aim of Consensus Business Group is to invest in and develop innovative business models that will radically change traditional modes of business. Julian was previously a founder of Edengene, the UK’s leading growth and innovation consultancy, and prior to that was a Managing Consultant in the Strategy practice of PA Consulting. He is a serial entrepreneur; responsible for, and associated with, several start ups in a variety of sectors. Wheatland spent his early career working for BICC Cables. He is a Chartered Engineer, and a director of Strategic Communication Laboratories.[1] [2]

Education and Training

Wheatland was educated at the University of Leeds where he read electrical and electronic engineering. He has an MBA from The Wharton School and he is a qualified Chartered Engineer.
