John Denham MP

John Denham was the Labour MP for Southampton Itchen from 1992 to 2015.

In 2011 Denham announced he would not be standing in the 2015 general election.[1] He was replaced by Rowenna Davis who lost to the Conservative Party's Royston Smith by 2,316 votes.[2]

Parliamentary roles

He was Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills 2007-09, and Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government 2009-10.[3]

Donations

In 2011 Denham received donations of £4,697.71 and £4,657.95 from private equity firm owner Nigel Doughty.[4]
