John Collins

Sir John Collins is of Zimbabwean origin. He is the former chairman and chief executive of Shell UK. In 2002, he took over the chairmanship of Dixons. He is currently the president of the Energy Institute.

Collin's first job was with Shell Chemicals in Kenya. According to The Times, he also "spent two years at the helm of National Power". (The Times, June 26, 2003)
