Jim Currie was appointed to the Board of RBS in November 2001. He serves as International Adviser to Eversheds and a consultant to Butera & Andrews UK Limited. Currie served as Director General at the European Commission with responsibility for the EU's Environmental Policy and previously Director General for Customs and Indirect Taxation. Mr. Currie is a highly experienced senior international civil servant who spent many years working in Brussels and Washington. He serves as a Director of Total Holdings UK Limited. Mr. Currie served as a Non Executive Director of British Nuclear Fuels PLC since November 2002 until September 30, 2005 [1].
