The International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (IFCTU) was an international labour federation set up in 1949.[1] it was dissolved in October 2006 to coincide with the formation of the International Trade Union Confederation which absorbed affiliates of the IFCTU and the World Confederation of Labour.[2]
