Hilary Hudson joined FIPRA International in February 2008 as an Account Executive. She had previously worked for Grayling Political Strategy network as an Account Executive since 25 July 2007, specialising in the areas of energy efficiency and the environment and transport policy. Prior to that she gained considerable experience in the UK and EU public affairs, having worked as a political researcher for British politicians, Ann Widdicombe MP, Chris McCafferty MP, and Richard Corbett MEP, focusing on issues ranging from immigration and asylum to international development and relations with Iran.

At FIPRA, Hilary now focuses mainly on energy and maritime affairs matters, in particular working for MOL, the Hungarian energy company and the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, for whom FIPRA is responsible for their global public affairs work. Hilary has also spent time working for both UK national and European politicians in both Westminster and the European Parliament in Brussels. Hilary comes from a legal background after completing her law degree at the University of Durham in the UK and one year's study at the Katholic University of Leuven, Belgium as part of the Erasmus programme where she completed studies in European and International Law.[1]
