Hannah has a BSc and also a PhD in nutrition from King’s College London. Her PhD research focused on the influence of the omega-3 fatty acid, DHA, on endothelial function and other risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Hannah, a registered public health nutritionist joined The Sugar Bureau in September 2005. She previously worked at the British Nutrition Foundation where she regularly contributed to the print and broadcast media on wide variety of nutrition related issues. Hannah is a member of the Nutrition Society. As the Consumer Communications Manager, Hannah heads up the communications department, whose role is to communicate the scientific evidence about the contribution of sugars, and other carbohydrates, to a healthy balanced diet.
