In the news

In Feb. 2007, Dr. Sarah Wykes, a Global Witness researcher, was imprisoned in Angola accused of involvement in spying.

"Global Witness does not accept funding from any individual, company or organisation that has disregarded the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in the course of their business, or that is involved in the extractives, timber or arms industries.
