George Readings was the Communications Officer for the Quilliam Foundation and he blogged at The Spittoon under the handle Admin1 until June 2009.[1]. According to his Quilliam profile:

He holds a BA (Hons) in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. In addition to his language studies at SOAS, George focused on the origins of Islamic jurisprudential traditions and the influence of Islamist narratives on contemporary British discourse surrounding Islam. He has also spent time living in Malaysia and Syria.[2]

George Readings joined Stirling Assynt in 2011 and has been the Senior Editor there since May 2013.[3] Stirling Assyny describes itself as a global intelligence network which is run from offices in London and Hong Kong.[4]
