Sir Ewen Cameron was a Scottish businessman who emigrated to the Far East in the Mid-Nineteenth Century to work for the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank. he became a director of the Bank, and returned to London to manage it. His son Ewen Alan Cameron, grandson Donald Cameron and great-grandson Ian Cameron all became partners in stockbrokers Panmure Gordon. His great-great-grandson is Prime Minister David Cameron.[1]
