Ethel J. Lindgren was an anthropologist based at Cambridge University. She was involved in the Le Play House and in the Regional Survey movement in British sociology from 1920 - 1955. Among toehr things she was associated with the Institute of sociolgy which published the Sociological Review.[1]
With her husband Oscar Mamen she was involved in introducing Reindeert to the Cairngorms in Scotland in 1949:
