Professor Dominic Christophe Bogdan Lieven (born 19 January 1952) is a right-wing British academic specialising in Russian and Imperial history. He is currently Professor of Russian Government and Coordinator of the MSc in Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics. [1]

He was a member of the right-wing propaganda outfit the Institute for the Study of Conflict. He remained at the Institute after it was re-launched as the Research Institute for the Study of Conflict and Terrorism in 1989, and was a board member until its official dissolution on 11 December 2000.
