Denzil Davidson

Denzil Davidson is currently a special adviser and researcher for Philip Hammond, first secretary of state for foreign and commonwealth affairs. [1]

Davidson held the same job for the previous foreign secretary William Hague, a role which he has filled since 2005. [2]

Background

Davidson used to work for the Conservative Research Department where he was head of the International Section.

He was also special adviser to Hague on EU issues from 2005, a role he held for five years.

Davidson is a member of the Franco-British Council.[3]

Education

Davidson was educated at Edinburgh University, where he read History (MA Hons) and Law (LLB). [4]
