Conrad Bailey is senior policy adviser to David Cameron.

Background

Bailey is a career civil servant, a former head of conflict department at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He also served as acting command secretary at the Ministry of Defence. [1] Previous roles also include trustee/non-exec to the The Lifeboat Fund Charity, as well a number of roles at the Ministry of Defence: acting command secretary for the, assistant chief of staff: policy, media, Legal, industrial policy and private secretary to the Minister for Defence Equipment and Support. [2]
