Conor Ryan is a former special adviser to the Labour Party.[1]

Background

Ryan was born in Dublin in 1963. From 1993 to 2001, Ryan was a senior adviser to the Secretary of State for Education and Employment David Blunkett. He then worked as a freelance writer and commentator, before returning in 2005 to a special adviser role for the Prime Minister’s Policy Directorate where was he Tony Blair's senior education adviser until 2007.[2]
